About Us

West wind electric power limited was established on (26th July, 2011),under the Nigeria co-operate affairs commission (C.A.C) and our business is to ensure through our services that Mankind, companies, nations enjoy Electric power supply according to their several capabilities. Our services cover both Medium Voltage scale and Low voltage scale
We design power system networks
We procure and install various types of machines like generators, motors, turbo generators, turbo-pumps, power panels and control panels in LOW VOLTAGE and MEDIUM VOLTAGE range.
Other electrical works like building services etc.

GBOLAHAN OLOJE (TECHNICAL DIRECTOR)

He has over seven years of continuous hands-on experience in Power and control engineering.

  • As a Staff of Income Electrix Limited between the year2011 and 2012, he held a position as a Project Engineer but acted in the capacity of a Project Manager in the project planning, project documentation and project Variation of:
  • The CONNECTION OF NPA (FOT) TO THE NATIONAL GRID FROM THE 33KV LINE
  • As a staff of NEGRIS LTD between 2009 and 2011, he led the Electrical unit (construction) on the following projects:
      1. Lagos State independent Power Project (LIPP): 9.8 MW LIPP in the year 2010 and 2011
      2. Installation of Centaur 40 Turbo-pump in the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (N.A.O.C) Ebocha oil centre, River state in the year 2009 -2010. At the same time played a major role as support ENGINEER in the installation of three TAURUS 60 Turbo generators (18MW) in TOTAL/ELF Facilities in Port Harcourt, River State.
      3. Lekki Electrical Power System Upgrade 3 (LEPSU 3) project at the CHEVRON facilities, Lagos State in the year 2009
  • As a staff of PAUMA ENGINEERING CONSULTANT between 2007 to March 2009, He led a unit of his company in the following projects and services:
      1. 2008/2009 Kaduna Refine nary Turn around Maintenance (TAM).
      2. Design and installation of low voltage panel with electrical interlock, Automatic Mains Failure(AMF) for two 750 KVA generators In the year 2008
      3. Installation of SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) in over (15) PHCN Transmission stations in the year 2007 and 2008. The followings are the Transmission Stations(TS) visited: Kankia Transmission Station (Ts), Hadejia Ts, Dakata Ts, Dan Agundi Ts, Ota Ts, Yandev Ts, Okpella Ts, Offa Ts, Omuaran Ts, Ilorin Ts, Kontagora Ts, Apo Ts, Minna Ts, Tegina Ts, Katsina Ts.
  • As a Corper under the NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CORP SCHEME of Nigeria, he served the Federal Medical Centre Yenegoa, Bayelsa State as their Electrical Engineer (2005 to2006).
  • As an industrial attachment Student in the year 2001 under the Student industrial working experience scheme (SIWES), he was privileged to learn the basics of power engineering from the Kainji Power station (PHCN), New Bussa Niger State.

OWOADE DEJI(QA/QC)

He has over seven years of continuous hands-on experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in power engineering.

  • As a Staff of CUMMINS INC. where he was a regional Service Engineer and provided the following services:
      1. Provide technical support by solving problems that have been escalated because of their complexity, longevity, and criticality.
      2. Identify systemic service problems, initiate and document critical customer issue for product quality council review and action.
      3. Service items, including support plans and distribution reviews.
      4. Negotiate responsible good will or "policy" settlements that fall outside of standard warranty limits
  • As a Staff of CONTOURGLOBAL NIGERIA LIMITED, LAGOS where he was a development Engineer and provided the following services:
      1. Support the developing activities in Nigeria in screening new business opportunities by conducting technical due diligence and providing recommendations on technical solutions and ideas.
      2. Carry out technical due diligence on Greenfield and Brownfield development in Nigeria.
      3. Support and review contract negotiations for EPC and O&M agreements and other project contracts requiring technical support.
      4. Establish contracting and execution plans for Engineering, Procurement and Construction and support contract negotiations.
      5. Coordinate integration of existing power plant to the new power plant engines (gas & diesel)
      6. Support and review contract negotiations for EPC and O&M agreements and other project contracts requiring technical support.
  • As a staff of NEGRIS LTD between 2008 -2011, he was the QA/QC Engineer (construction) on the following projects:
      1. Lagos State independent Power Project (LIPP): 9.8 MW LIPP in the year 2010 and 2011
      2. Installation and Commissioning of 3 x 5.5MW Solar gas Turbines in the Power Plant Upgrade on Total Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (TEPNL), in their Port Harcourt Facility in the year 2009 and 2010
      3. Lekki Electrical Power System Upgrade 3 (LEPSU 3) project at the CHEVRON facilities, Lagos State in the year 2009
      4. Idu Gas Gathering Project, Agip Facility in the year 2007 and 2008
      5. Ikorodu Industrial Power Project.

ORIRE ADEMAYOWA

He has over Five years of continuous hands-on experience in Power and control engineering.

  • As a Staff of Income Electrix Limited between the year2011 and 2012, he held a position as a Project Engineer and carried out Complete Project Execution Plan with detailed consideration of Technical, Procurement and Financial Resources on Construction of 1 No (One) 1 X 30mva, I32/33kv Injection Transformer Substation at Ozoro.
  • As a staff of NEGRIS LTD between 2008 and 2011, he worked as a Project and Mechanical Engineer (construction) on the following projects:
      1. Lagos State independent Power Project (LIPP): 9.8 MW LIPP in the year 2010 and 2011.
      2. Installation of Centaur 40 Turbo-pump in the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (N.A.O.C) Ebocha oil centre, River state in the year 2009 and 2010.
      3. Installation of Air Dryer for four (4) Compressors on Chevron Facility in Lagos in the year 2009 and 2010.
      4. Lekki Electrical Power System Upgrade 3 (LEPSU 3) project at the CHEVRON facilities, Lagos State in the year 2009.

ADEDIPE ADEGBOLA

  • As a Staff of Radial Circle Group, he held the position of the Group Lead Internal Auditor and as such carried out the Following Tasks:
      1. Prepare the Audit schedule, Audit plan and Audit report and ensure full compliance with the Internal Audit Procedure during Audit activities.
      2. Perform audits in conformity with the applicable generic and industry specific standards/certification requirements.
      3. Taking part in conducting hazard identification studies using scenario-based risk analysis methods (HAZOP, HAZID, etc.)
      4. Taking part in carrying out risk assessments based on semi-quantitative analyses (i.e. through use of risk matrices) and coordinate detailed quantified risk analyses (QRAs).
      5. Develop and Implement all the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSSE Management System to be in compliant with OHSAS 18001/2007 and ISO 14001/ 2004 standards, including corrective and preventive measures
  • As a Staff of Nestle Nigeria Plc, he held the position of an HSE Officer from the tear 2008 to 2010. He carried out the following HSSE activities:
      1. Establish, implement and maintain all ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety Management System), ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management System) requirements, in order to prepare Nestle Waters Factory for ISO certification (Achieved)
      2. Conduct hazard identification studies using scenario-based risk analysis methods (HAZOP, HAZID, etc.)
      3. Carry out risk assessments based on semi-quantitative analyses (i.e. through use of risk matrices) and coordinate detailed quantified risk analyses (QRAs).
